Project Overview
Scope, location and technical context
Grand Line delivered testing and commissioning support for the Mitham Al-Tammar 33 kV station in Karbala, covering primary equipment, protection and control checks, and pre-commissioning activities through to commissioning support.
Engineering
Technical review of test procedures, protection and control documentation, and coordination of testing sequences for 33 kV switchgear, transformers and associated circuits.
Construction
Field support during installation close-out, including verification of equipment readiness, cable terminations and earthing continuity before energization activities.
Testing
CT, VT, switchgear, circuit breaker, transformer and cable testing, together with protection and control checks, interlock verification and earthing verification.
Commissioning
Pre-commissioning, functional verification and commissioning support to prepare the 33 kV station for safe energization and handover.
